I purchased two of these. One for me and one for another family member. We used them to travel all over the world this summer and they were great. They allowed us to pack shoes, cords, digital devices, etc on the trips and easily fit on the airplanes. I love mine.

My review is mixed.
Pro: The design sits squarely on top of my roller board and stays put.
My handbag and another small bag fit inside and are easy to access.
Cons: The circular top zipper often gets stuck and needs to be handled carefully when opening the top. Another samll tab that a person could hold when opening and closing the zipper would be a better design.
The design needs a strap to slide over the roller board handle for better security.
The straps for the backpack need tweaking. It is too easy to trip over them if you are using the handles to carry the bag instead of wearing it as a backpack.
The bag has 3 opening access points that cannot be locked. Do not use this bag in a place where luggage pickpockets are common.
In summary: I would return the bag except for 1 detail. My purse and a necesary travel item fit inside and balance easily over the rollerboard carry-on.

I really, really wanted to like this bag. While it wasn’t cheap, I liked the idea it was from a Kickstarter campaign, and the look and form factor were great.
However, it completely fell short in the one area that really counts: durability. I purchased this for a 2.5 week trip to Germany.

I took a trip to New York and used this as my carry on bag on the plane it was a bit smaller that what the plane allows but it fit so much in it .
Use it like a back pack over the shoulder on carry really good product

Dear John,
I don’t quite know how to break this to you, but……
I have to get out, travel, meet new people.
No! Oh no… it’s not you…
It’s…my new Voyage Bag 🙂
If a bag were able to move me emotionally, the Voyage Bag would be The One.
I saw this gorgeous bag awhile back on KickStarter, but, I was too late to get in on it~story of my life!
While looking to replace all of our ancient, tired, broken luggage, I saw it again right here on
Amazon and I 1-clicked that button immediately!
This is an extremely high quality bag-a 5 star bag. It’s so very well made fom the fabric to the
stitching to the zipper pulls, it’s all top notch. I’d expect to pay so much more for a travel duffel of
this caliber.
So versatile! pockets for everything that you can configure every which way AND it really does
switch from a shoulder bag to a backpack to a duffel to a carry-on bag in just a jiffy! (She’s this
excited about a travel bag?) Yes! I am!
My husband brought the box in from the porch & opened it up, (I saw him eyeing it! No Way
Mister!), I then nonchalantly removed it to the bedroom and was happily checking it out when he
casually said, ‘That would make a great gear bag…..’ I just smiled 🙂 (Yea~I’m going to have to
order him one!) For now, my beautiful Voyage bag is safely, (hidden), stowed away until he has his
own.

A lot of items, including travel bags, claim to have “all the features you need”, but this bag is truly well thought-out and well designed. The pockets and multiple access points are exactly where they make sense. I particularly like the Velcro flaps that can be used to contain/conceal one or both of the back-pack straps. The bag is large enough to be a weekend bag if you pack efficiently, but just small enough to go under an airline seat (and I had no problem declaring it as a ‘personal item’s, as opposed to a carry-on bag which often has associated costs). Well designed, well made, we’ll worth the money.

I’ve had the Voyage bag for a couple of weeks and so far — it’s all thumbs up. I’ve used it walking the floor at a trade show, my daily commuter pack and have used it on one flight. Interior is spacious and I dig the padded compartment for gear like my macbook. I’ve used it mainly as a backpack, not as the duffel and have found it comfortable. I can’t speak to the duffel strap but I figure it’d be just as good. Its sleek design is deceiving. While the outside is clean, the bag is well appointed with exterior pockets. If I were to add any criticism, I’d suggest adding a chest/sternum strap as well as a loop for a carabiner or additional webbing strap to hang misc items off of it, like a water bottle or something.
Definitely a 4.8 out of 5 – would recommend!

I bought the bag from your kickstarter campaign and used it as a carry on for a week-long trip and wedding in Colorado. The amount of stuff it can hold is pretty incredible- way better and more organized than the duffle I used travelling to Europe. While I did have to check luggage (weddings=several days of formal clothes, after all, and I brought some some camping gear) I believe I could use this as my primary bag for a week-long casual trip.

Adequate for a weekend’s worth of clothes, longer if you’re creative. I’ve mostly used it to carry things back and forth to my camp and used the handles. Haven’t used the backpack straps yet. Fabric is a little stiff but it’s relatively new. Color is a plain hue which is appealing to me for a travel bag (personal opinion, others may want a brighter color).

Good bag, can hold an entire weeks worth of clothes for work with a labtop, switch, and a pair of extra shoes. Nice to use as a back and forth as just a book bag too. Straps can be uncomfortable when loaded up though, but definitely recommend it!

This bag, space wise, is fantastic and is much needed. Especially as i leave the house for days at a time so i need my gym clothes, text books, laptop food and all my folders with me. The separate compartments are well arranged and allows me to hold pens , penicls, rulers and the many different cables i hold. received this bag back in februrary and unfortunately has started to break apart due to wear and tear. I’m aware that i carry alot of weight with me all the time which means i have put this bag through it’s paces. found that one of the straps has started to rip and the inner lining is also ripping along the seems. This bag is serving me well but i believe a slight update might accommodate a student lifestyle such as mine and allow it survive longer

It has a lot of room. Doubles as a duffel bag. Bought it for a camping trip. Works great!

Love it! Great for a gym and day bag and its wonderfully organised

I purchased the Voyage bag through the Kickstarter campaign and it’s even better than I imagined. The versatility of the entire bag is incredible from the ability to take it from a backpack to a duffle bag to the compartments for your electronics, shoes, or whatever you need to store! It’s a great gym bag, weekender, or for every day.

Really awesome bag to combine work and sport

I’m really loving the bag so far–especially all the pockets. it’s perfect as a smaller travel bag.
